Lagardère Active have announced French Paid Circulation at an average of 220 350 copies (Editor) for the first two issues of their newest magazine Be, with an average of 36 advertising pages per issue. The website be.com also enjoyed more than 600 000 unique visitors by the end of March.

After these impressive launch figures, Be continued to grow with a circulation of 220 460 copies in March (OJD DSH 2010). The website Be.com is also enjoying success with 3 million page views (Estat) and 446 000 unique visits (Nielson Net Ratings). The Be iPhone application has been downloaded 17 379 times (Editor) and enjoyed 297 185 page views in April (Google Analytics). Around 20% of registered users connect to the site via the application with the average time spent on the site being a respectable 23 minutes.

In order to listen to its readers and better meet their needs, Be did a quantitative study of its first 6 issues. This online study was conducted by the IPSOS MédiaCT Institute on a representative cross-section of 6 485 woman aged 15 and over, throughout France during the period of the 22nd of March to the 29th of April 2010.
This study has provided greater insight into the profile of Be readers:
